Walking your Dog on the Beach
From October to April, the entire beach may be used with your pet. From May to September, dogs are only permitted on specially marked beach areas. To avoid accidents, however, all dogs must be on a leash at all times in town and on the beach.
Our dog beach is located from the Fuchsberg beach access point 22 to Hohe Düne access point 23, and west from the Bernsteinweg access point to Regenbogencamp. Dogs are not allowed on the beach outside the marked sections out of respect to our other guests.
Spa Tax
No spa tax is collected for your four-legged friends here in Prerow.
Clean-Up Baggies
Since we all want a neat and clean town and beach, the Tourist Information Office has free baggies available for dog owners to use to clean up after their friends. Trash cans are located at all beach entrances and across town so you can readily dispose of your baggies.
